Creative Catering is a full event planning service, with an emphasis on high-end catering. After having an outstanding reputation for over 22 years in the Las Vegas area, Creative Catering began using Jean-Philippe Patisserie to offer their delicious cuisine to the local hotels and casinos at wholesale prices in early 2004. Fresh ingredients, excellent service, and extravagant food presentation is of the highest priority. Our chefs are from around the world and are capable of any international cuisine. Our pastry chefs were trained in France, so they can create custom designed cakes that are to die for. Creative Catering will produce an impression for guests to remember forever.

Jean-Philippe Dufoin
Corporate Executive Chef & owner of Creative Catering
Jean-Philippe has been in the foodservice industry for more than 35 years. He has worked around the world for prestigious establishments, cooking for presidents and celebrities alike. An influential part of his career was spent working for famed pastry chef and caterer Gaston Lenotre in Paris. Dufoin came to the United States in 1999 to open Lenotre at the Paris Las Vegas Resort and Hotel. In 2003, Dufoin purchased Creative Catering, a company with a 20 year old legacy in Las Vegas. Dufoin has also appeared on the Food Network for his pastry expertise and sugar pulling artistry.

Pieter Van Staden
Chef de Cuisine
Pieter Van Staden was born in South Africa and has been in the foodservice industry for more than 11 years. He mastered his are of international cooking at the L’Academic De Cuisine in Washington, D.C. Chef Van Staden specializes in Asian and Mediterranean fusion, as well as sauces and savory hors d’ oeuvres. Chef Van Staden has also been a casino banquet chef and is simply a culinary perfectionist and garnish enthusiast.

Edward L. Duff
Sous Chef
Edward L. Duff is originally from the Philippines and worked many years in the Bay Area, San Francisco, CA. He has been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years and is a powerful leader. Duff displays strong kitchen management skills and has performed for high-volume banquet events. His areas of expertise are BBQ, seafood, and sushi. Duff is also very familiar with Asian, All-American, and Mexican cuisine.
